Who Is The Dawn of Real Estate?

Welcome! I am very glad you are here and look forward to assisting friends and acquaintances with their real estate needs as well as the future friends and acquaintances I have yet to meet. The real estate business is about relationships and as your Realtor I realize that. It is my goal to provide you with honest, hometown service that meets your needs with attention to personal detail. While we get busy in today's world, I strive to treat every customer and client as my only one. In short, you matter to me and I will provide you with service that shows that. 

Here is some information about me so you can get to know me:

I was born in New Jersey and moved here at middle school age. Let's just say I've been here quite a few years (since 1978). My family relocated here when Lehigh Acres and Southwest Florida was much smaller than it is today. I've seen lots of growth and change but couldn't think of another place I'd rather live than Southwest Florida. I love life here! I live here, work here, play here.

I went to school here, having attended Bishop Verot High School and Edison College in Fort Myers.

I am now raising my son here as I have a great, energetic boy who is the light of my life. Family is a major priority to me and it's why I love being a Realtor and working for myself. I also own a home-based candle business and work a lot on the internet as it's a good fit in my life, allowing me to be home for my son instead of putting him in daycare. Believe me, I understand the importance of family and you will find that reflected in how I conduct my real estate business. Your family matters to me. 

My real estate career actually began in the 1980’s as a Sales Associate with a national real estate franchise for 6 years. During those years, I specialized in Residential Real Estate and Lot Sales in Lehigh Acres, Florida. I closed 700+ successful real estate transactions during that time. I was very young then and life took some turns and twists over the years. But it's great to be back in real estate and I feel life has kind of gone full circle for me.

In 1989, I made a career change. I went from selling real estate to working for a national title insurance company for almost 5 years.  I began there as their Marketing Director and was later promoted to Vice President.  I genuinely loved what I did there because I had the background to understand how important the closing process was. My job was to assist Real Estate Agents, Builders, Mortgage Bankers and Mortgage Brokers successfully close their transactions. Those years were valuable and I acquired a great deal of knowledge that still serves me well today. I taught dozens of seminars and classes for the real estate profession about the settlement and closing process, how to read a HUD-1 Settlement Statements and about FHA/VA closings.  My job was rewarding and I received many honors including being chosen the Mortgage Bankers Association of Southwest Florida’s Affiliate Member of the Year two times: in 1989-90 and 1990-91. I also served on the Board of Governors of that Association for over 3 years interacting with mortgage professionals and understanding their job and needs and how it factored into the closing process.

I feel my combined knowledge and experience would make me a great choice for your Realtor. I know that the buying or selling process begins long before a contract is signed, isn't complete until we conclude a hassle and stress-free closing and that is important to me because I value your business and future referrals.

After I worked in title insurance, I left the industry and pursued other employment and self-employment. I owned my own Travel Agency. I became an entrepreneur and work at home Mom and writer. I have owned a home-based candle business for 6+ years and have a lot of internet marketing experience which is helpful in promoting my real estate business and listings. When my son was small I was a helping teacher in Pre-K elementary education. Quite a resume one would say but over the years I've missed the real estate business and am so glad to be back.

As a Timeshare traveler and owner for decades, I want to be your Florida Timeshare Specialist and have chosen to specialize in that area of real estate because I find it somewhat neglected in our profession and misunderstood. Timeshare is a great vacation property fit for many, some who may not realize it, but it's not for everyone. It has served my family well and I am passionate about creating a great marketplace both online and offline for Florida Timeshares, putting buyers who are missing out on the experience with sellers who no longer need their timeshares because of lifestyle changes. It's exciting and I look forward to sharing information, deals and great vacation resort properties with you.
